Gregg Trussell co-founded Genesis Physical Therapy Group in 1993. He is a Physical Therapist and the Director of Physical Therapy for Genesis Physical Therapy Group. He is a graduate of Delta State University (1984) and University of Mississippi Medical Center (1986). Gregg is also a member of the Hinds Community College PTA Advisory Board. His favorite hobby is playing golf. Gregg is married and loves spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Joseph “Joey” Cooley is a Physical Therapist and Director at Genesis Physical Therapy Group. He received his Physical Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, TX in 1987 and later received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Joey has many years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy and a diploma in Osteopractic Physical Therapy. He has additional certifications in Dry Needling and Spinal Manipulation. Joey says his favorite part of physical therapy is the personal interaction with his patients that over the years develop into life-long relationships. Joey has been married to his wife since 1983 and enjoys traveling (especially the National Parks) and spending time with family.
Jeremy Harvey is a Physical Therapist and Director at Genesis Physical Therapy Group. Upon graduating from Pearl High School, Jeremy attended Jackson State University, where he was a member of the baseball team and he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biology. In 2013, he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After becoming board certified in 2013, Jeremy began his career working as an acute care physical therapist. Subsequently, he worked 9 years as an outpatient physical therapist at various locations.
Jeremy lives with his wife and 2 children in Pearl, MS. They are members of True Vine Baptist Church in Flowood, MS. Jeremy enjoys using physical therapy to help patients reach their maximum level of function, as they overcome their physical and emotional challenges.
Sarah H. Virden is a Physical Therapist at Genesis Physical Therapy Group. She attended Mississippi State University prior to receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2018. Sarah states the best part of being a physical therapist is getting to know her patients and helping them to achieve their personal goals. Sarah has been with Genesis since 2018 and has additional certification in Dry Needling. Along with spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs, she also enjoys running.
Baily Bynum is a Physical Therapist at Genesis Physical Therapy Group.
She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2022. She grew up in Madison, MS and now lives in Soso, MS with her husband. In her free time, Bailey enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and watching Mississippi State sports.
Brady Church is a Physical Therapist at Genesis Physical Therapy Group. He studied athletic training at Anderson University before receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Belmont University in 2011. Brady has clinical experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. Along with certifications in Dry Needling and Manual Therapy focusing on joint mobilization/manipulation, he is also a certified Athletic Trainer. Brady’s favorite aspect of physical therapy is being able to develop relationships with patients and co-workers and playing a role in helping patients return to activities they enjoy doing. Brady is originally from Pittsburgh, PA but has relocated to his wife’s hometown of Laurel, MS to raise their family. He enjoys spending time with his family, the outdoors, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Volunteers play football.
Quincy Harvey is a Physical Therapist at Genesis Physical Therapy Group. He is a resident of Pearl, MS and is also a graduate of Pearl High School. Quincy graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelor's Degrees in Biology and from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2014). Quincy has additional certification in Dry Needling. Quincy and his wife have two daughters. He enjoys playing basketball, flag football, softball, and working out. Quincy states that his favorite part about being a physical therapist is interacting with patients while helping each achieve their goals.
Christie OQuin is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Genesis Physical Therapy Group. She graduated from the Hinds Community College PTA program in 2009 and has been with Genesis since graduation. Christie is married and enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and being a foodie. They have 4 fur babies: a German Shepherd named Simba and 3 cats named Miller, Shipley and Pebbles.
Molly Cook is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Genesis Physical Therapy Group. She graduated from Hinds Community College PTA program in 2021 and has been with Genesis since 2024. Molly is married and enjoys spending time with her family in her free time. She likes being a PTA because she loves meeting new people and helping patients reach their goals.
